For the past two and a half
years, I have been traveling back and forth to Campeche to reacquaint myself
with some of my favourite relatives and some of my favourite spots in
Campeche State. I have also met new friends and have put together a
team of associates to provide specialized (and not so specialized) services
to non-Mexican visitors and visitors who do not speak the language and
may need assistance of various types. I have also continued to build
relationships with friends in government and the private sector who can
collaborate with me to assist foreign investors interested in a variety of
investment opportunities in Campeche.

With viajes Edzná in Campeche City you can access a
variety of tours in and around Campeche State as well as specialized
services. These services may include fishing trips, trips to a local
beach south of Campeche City, tours of any and all the many Mayan
Archaeological sites in the state (e.g. Calakmul), city tours in Campeche
city including the light and sound shows in the gated downtown district or
the new show in the ancient Mayan city of Edzná. You can also

has moved to Campeche recently to work with Campeche.ca in various areas.
One of the areas of service he is helping to develop is that of concierge
type services. Because Campeche is very new to international
tourism not many people in the state speak English very well. For
example, most of the store clerks and restaurant staff in Campeche City
speak very little or no English. Service providers (for people
staying for extended periods of time) such as plumbers, carpenters,
electricians, etc. don't speak English at all. With Saul, who is
almost 100% bilingual, in Campeche we can offer a variey of services to
visitors who 1) don't speak Spanish and need an interpreter or 2) who have
difficulty finding what they need and would like help from a local person or
3) simply want a customized service like picking up groceries at a
supermarket and delivering to their temporary home in Campeche, etc.
Fees are charged based on the time required for the service and the time
of day it is delivered: USD $15 per hour during business hours (8 am to 2 pm
and 4 pm to 7pm) and USD $20 per hour (during non-business hours) plus
transportation expenses when needed (a cab ride within Campeche City, for
example will cost between USD $3 and $10). Saul can also help

Campeche.ca has established a relationship with
PLANEACION ESTRATEGICA Y DESARROLLO in Campeche
City to assist foreign investors who are looking for opportunities in
Campeche or have already decided to invest in the State. PLANEACION
ESTRATEGICA Y DESARROLLO is led by Mr. Ricardo Rodriguez Dives, the former
Tourism Minister for the State of Campeche who in effect began Campeche's
current push into the international tourism arena. This
relationship allows us to offer foreign investors consulting services in the
areas of tourism and related businesses as well as real estate investment
and development. These services may include site selection, business
planning, environmental impact studies, operating services (e.g. if you want
to establish a business in Campeche but will not live there permanently),
access to financing (for certain projects only). Consulting fees are
determined on a case by case basis.
