Learn Spanish at the Centro de Español y Maya of the
University of Campeche. Situated minutes from the Historic Downtown area,
the Centre for Spanish and Maya offers Spanish as a second language courses,
Mayan culture, history and language courses.
Programs vary from structured for credit university courses
(15 hours of in class instruction) to private language training,
conversational Spanish or custom designed programs.
Students at the Centro have access to all university
facilities and many cultural courses at no additional cost. You can take
salsa lessons or guitar lessons for example.
Semesters last three and a half months. Tuition fees:
USD $640 per semester. Homestay is available for USD $340 per month.
Private tutoring: USD $7/hour. Homestay includes three meals per day staying with a Campechan family in a
private room with private washroom.
Apartments may be available for rent for extended stay.
