Campeche at dusk and at night on a Sunday night in December.  the City of Campeche is still one of the safest towns in all of Mexico.  Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights locals like to go out for a stroll in the main Plaza (in December there are concerts and vendors and the square is closed to vehicular traffic) or a ride by the malecón (waterfront embankment).  Many people young and old hang out at different points along the embankment.  Not many tourists around. Only those who have discovered this place either by chance or perhaps by visiting our website and becoming intrigued by Campeche.
